I have a regular 2017 12-inch MacBook (not pro or air), and it meets the recommended requirements but I’m still worried it won’t run TS4 very well. I played 2 when I was younger all the time and I’d love to get back into the sims world but I don’t want to spend so much on something if it won’t work well (like many people who have come. Neo geo bios. Sims 4 works surprisingly well on my new Macbook Air 2018. I think the game looks good when I turn off retina resolution, choose a little bit lower resolution and select other graphical options to 'high'. Sims 3 zip file.

For computers using built-in graphics chipsets under Windows, the game requires at least:

Intel Integrated Chipset, GMA 3-Series or above 2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent 0.5 GB additional RAM

FOR MAC OS X

Mac OS X 10.5.7 Leopard or higher Intel Core Duo Processor 2 GB RAM ATI X1600 or Nvidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100. At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games This game will not run on PowerPC (G3/G4/G5) based Mac systems, or the GMA 950 class of integrated video cards.

Judging by this information, it seems that as long as you have enough RAM and free hard drive space, the game should run.

What is Rosetta 2? Rosetta 2 is a translation process that enables an M1 Mac with Apple silicon to use apps built for Intel-based Macs.

As you can see below, the game is still exclusively written for Intel-based Macs, but thanks to Rosetta 2, The Sims 4 can nonetheless run great on M1 Macs:
